CATCHING LEAKS EARLY ON

Many leaks may not be detectable until they have caused visual damage because of how long they have been leaking. Our goal is to eliminate this issue by detecting leaks early on before they have caused a significant amount of damage.

We use the latest in moisture detection equipment in order to identify any traces of moisture in building materials such as drywall, plaster, brick, wood, concrete and more.

SIGNS OF A HIDDEN LEAK

Hearing water running or dripping even when no water is being used, seeing mildew, water spots or cracks appear in your walls or ceilings or having a higher water bill are all signs you may have a leak.

WE USE THE LATEST IN THERMAL IMAGING EQUIPMENT

HOW THERMAL IMAGING WORKS

Thermal imaging is the process of taking a person or object’s infrared radiation (heat) and creating an image based off that radiation. The hotter an object is, the brighter it is on the image.

The thermal imaging equipment we use allows us to measure and detect the changes in surface temperature of the area that is being investigated. These temperature changes are not visible to the naked eye, but by identifying surface temperature changes, we can pinpoint pipe leaks under concrete slabs, behind tiled surfaces and in walls and ceilings.

HOW IT HELPS US

We use thermal imaging cameras to assist not only in the diagnosing and in detecting of leaks but for locating hot water pipework as well, all in a non-invasive, fast and efficient manner.

Our thermal imaging cameras allow us to locate leaks even where there is no physical evidence of any water damage. It also allows us to track the extent of damage and the path taken by the leak to the affected area, as often the leak is never at the point of the visible damage.

WHY CHOOSE THERMAL IMAGING

Thermal imaging is used to see into walls and behind surfaces that the naked eye cannot see. This saves time, effort and damages because the wall or surface does not have to be cut into and removed in order to see the pipe. It also means that it is less labour intensive, which also helps to decrease the cost.
